Worst Power To Weight Ratios
Although today many auto manufacturers are on a relentless mission to increase performance and handling through adding horsepower and/or reducing curb weight, many also have initiatives to improve (at least a share) of their lineup’s affordability. A byproduct of these initiatives is typically a lineup with relatively low horsepower that lacks costly weight saving materials, such as carbon-fiber or aluminum. Although some late model cars make this ‘worse power to weight ratios’ list, most of these cars are several years old since automakers progressively increase their average car’s horsepower while reducing weight in an effort to improve acceleration and top-end performance, improve agility and handling, as well as reduce fuel consumption and CO2 emissions. The world’s worst power to weight
